Hi all
Another great day with great people.
Lots of pretty red rocks and miles of conversation in the truck.
So great to get together with Rob and Chris.
Started the day with a hearty breakfast
at the Moab Grill.
Then off to Dead Horse Point State Park
And along the way we found beautiful scenery.
Some days it is hard to look anywhere and not find a view.
Hard to believe, Millie got that close to a 500' drop.
From DHPSP we moved down the road to
Canyonlands NP.
More red rocks and scenic beauty.
I find this scenery, even though it is very similar to Grand Canyon,
just seems more intimate and easily accessible.
Well, Dead Horse Point State Park, not the National Park.
It may take a high clearance 4X4 and some prep
but you can go in among the carvings of Ma Nature.
Pretty spectacular.
Made it back to Moab, dropped the Fur kids off at the trailer
and went to the Moab Brewer for supper.
Excellent food and tasted a few beers (samples)
all were good and ate too much.
Then back to the BWB patio for moon rise.
All in all a great day.
Thanks again to Rob and Chris
wonderful friends even though relatives!
We convinced Rob
NOT to throw her
over the edge.
Maybe today I will get a good
photo of you both,
We need to ether meet more places or travel some together.
Love you both.
Hey, make your day great!
Tom and Millie
