Page, AZ

Hi all
We left Cortez, CO and after many harrowing experiences
Hours and hours of travel
across the wide open Southwest,
made the journey to
Page, AZ and Lake Powell

The last couple of days has
been wonderful.
A little more time at and
closing down the Park at Mesa Verde.
We then moved to Arriola, AZ
Spent Thursday night in
Back Country Solar's parking lot.
Joe did a minor install of a port
to plug in the portable solar panel set we purchased.
He also checked out our batteries and
determined they were still adequate.
He did suggest we plan to replace in the
near future.
I was so happy he was not a "salesman"
although he did a great job informing us
about his product, listening to what
our needs were and helping us, almost painlessly,
part with some of our money.
Was a wonderful experience and
the system does a great job.
I highly recommend, either purchasing online
or making the trip for complete installation.
Thanks Joe!

Most of our trip yesterday
was across Navajo Nation land.

Stark and surprisingly beautiful.

Rock formations varied so much over the 200+ miles.

Weather was perfect for traveling

and the few people we did interact with
were so pleasant.
Stopped and stood in 4 states at once,

Four Corners.

A bit later
Gas and MickyD's then back on the road.
Made Page and our campground
around 3 PM set up and relaxed.
Showered and laundry rounded out our evening.
Slept great and looking forward
to exploring around Page and Lake Powell today.
Will let you know, tomorrow, what we do find.
Taking some time to do financial stuff
and trip planning.

Make your day great
Tom and Millie
