We made it here and first thing this morning
we packed up the dirty clothes
and headed down the Monument drive
23 miles and it took us well over an hour.
So many stops and spectacular views
Well, here is just a bit of this 23 mile journey
And this is all just 10 Minutes from Grand Junction, CO

And Millie had to prove she could take it to the edge!
Maybe the railing helped boost her confidence.
Now a bit of the highway.
At the climb on each end of the road
it had to be at least a 10% or better grade.
That is steep Flatlanders, I mean s-t-e-e-p!
Areas looked like they had been landscaped for someones back yard.
And it is all Mother Nature's work.
After enjoying the drive and beautiful country
Drove into Grand Junction to do laundry.
Then had lunch
Pizza was even better!
Bought a new set of sheets, glad there was a Walmart in town
Filled with gas
washed the truck
and went home to our Big White Box.
Put the clothes away
had some supper
and soon heading to bed.
What a wonderful day!
