Hi all
Yesterday was an educational day.
As the title suggests we went and discovered Bears and Wolves
OK, we didn't "discover" them exactly
but learned lots of interesting facts about them.
Sam, the huge 1000 lb Grizzly from Alaska looked so gentle
and you could imagine the power which he can release when needed.
It's a must see when you are in the West Yellowstone area
and worth the trip.
The wolves were basking in the sun and looked so cuddly
They release 5 bears at once into the enclosure
Caretakers had hidden food around and the bears knew exactly how to locate it.
Spent a good share of the day there
then did a little shopping
home for a few trailer duties
then sat back with some adult beverages,
cheese and crackers,
and proceeded to cull out some of those useless brain cells.
Jaime, my brother, and Barb arrived well after dark
we helped them set up camp, not sure if we really helped or not,
and it got all set up any way.
Then returned to the food and wine bar
to start and renew friendships.
Great day and tired.
I even slept in to 7 AM!
Not sure what this day will bring
and will report on it tomorrow.
Then it will be pack up and move to new locations.
Make your day great
Tom and Millie
