MVNP day 2

Hi all from Meas Verde National Park
Yesterday was busy and we were exhausted by the end.
Started out driving the park drive after a stop at the campground store.
This gave me an idea what was to come.

Lots of great scenery.
And we went to the 8572 point

I did well although slow.
Lots of driving in this park, just not as much as Yellowstone.
Lots of curvy roads and places to stop and see the Cliff Dwellings.

Stopped at the Museum and found it very interesting.
Talked with a Ranger and decided climbing down the trails
to the ruins was not a good idea for me, breathing, and Millie, heights.
But the view are spectacular and with binoculars even better.

Decided to go to town, Cortez, CO
Little bit of a drive, but we needed a few things
and did not want to stop with the BWB on our way out.

Decided to add Solar, instead of always using the generator
to keep batteries charged when "dry" camping.
Will have to stop by that place on our way out
to get the RV wired correctly.
Can't believe how these things are put together.
Will be nice to listen to the sound of silent power.
I will report on how well it works.

Off to new adventures,
more likely relaxed adventures
as we are planning to take it easy today.

Make your day great
Tom and Millie
