Getting lazy!

Hi all

Yesterday we did a road trip.

Temps were to be mid 80’s plus, so we went up the mountain.

Took the drive up to Mt. Lemon, just outside of Tucson.

Packed a picnic lunch, the fur kids and plenty of water.

Made lots of stops and enjoyed the view, also to acclimate to the elevation.

Trip up was slow and the weather was perfect.

A few high light clouds added to the photography, as well as the scenery.

Summerhaven at the top was cool and not very crowded.

Got ice cream and walked around a little.

Then drove up on the little roads, some barely big enough for the truck.

These went up to the, likely million dollar plus homes on the mountain.

We would have had to back up if we had met another car.

We didn’t so it was a fun drive, can’t imagine going up on those roads with snow.

Or how they could find them to plow.

At 8000+ feet there was snow, and it was 75 and sunny.

Made a few stops on the way back down.

And off to the BWB, after Walmart.

Up on the back seats between the headrests with the back window open a bit.

Home, eat, head for bed, end to a great day.

During the night, Pancho got sick.

Made quite a mess and we stayed home today to clean up and let him get to feeling better.

By evening his was back to his old self.

We also got a little laundry, groceries and trailer duties done so we can relax through the weekend.

Washed the truck, too!

Tomorrow will have to polish and clean the windows due to nose prints.

We are thinking of staying another week here since the weather is so great and the RV park is so nice.

Still so many things to do and that will give us a little more time to discover.
