Busy Sunday

Hi all
Yesterday was busy
First we got up early, for us,
finished packing and moved to Dennis and Connie's curb.
Got set up, what little it takes to dry camp
on the street, still connected to the truck.
Then on to the North Dakota Picnic!

Actually saw several people that I knew
some from the past in construction and
a couple from church.
Weather was perfect, partly overcast and a light breeze.
No over heating.
Millie won a Family Membership to the Fargo Air Museum.
Had brats, chips and a soda for lunch.
Back to Dennis and Connie's for a few hours on the patio.
This is getting really easy to do.

Supper was out to San Tan Flats
an open air Bar and Grill.

Wooden picnic tables, order and pick up your own food,
and belly up to the bar for drinks.
As the air cooled down, wood fires were lit to help minimize the chill.
By the time we got our food it was dark.
Ate by the light of the fires and the light from the stage.
Nice entertainment as long as you like Country.
Seems to be a theme here in Arizona, surprise!

Thought this Ronald Reagan quote says a lot about what we have to protect.

Back to the BWB and one more run in the backyard for the fur kids.

Up this morning and over for coffee and sweet rolls.
They had a speaker about security and scams, by the Mesa Police Dept.
Good presentation with lots of good information.

All good things come to an end
and we had to get on the road to Tucson, AZ.
After several goodbyes we were able to get the BWB moving again.
Not only will the fur kids miss a great back yard and more laps to get petted in,
we will miss Dennis and Connie's hospitality and time together.
It was wonderful spending time with them
and they always had such great ideas to explore.
Looking forward to more time with them back home,
while we both spend our summers there.

Yes, we made it to Tucson, AZ
and are staying at the Davis-Montham Air Force Base Family Camp.
Very nice RV Park, clean, friendly management and that
is just our first impression.
Will know more as the days go by.

Make your day great
Tom and Millie
