Howdy everyone!
Woke up to no sunrise this morning.
Cloudy to the Southeast.
Lefty had to wake Millie.

Pleasant out and did some exterior work on the trailer.
Finished breakfast and got all put away.
Decided to extend our stay here
and purchased Sunset Cruise tickets on one of the Tall Ships.
Should be fun, hope the weather will cooperate.
Then headed out to spend some additional time with Pat.
Found that 2 of the 3 gates to the base were not open.
Got a good tour of the base until we found our way out.
Then took a wrong turn and ended up taking a windy twisty road over to Pat's
Seriously narrow and very tight turns
Just glad we only met cars
At Pat's she showed us around her home
and it is beautiful
And the gardens,

or landscaping

was spectacular and it wasn't even in season.

Lemon, tangelos, oranges and grapefruit, all with fruit on them

and the rest is succulents and desert plants.

No grass that we are used to seeing

























And this is considered a weed

Then out for lunch
Great longtime place with delicious sandwiches.
Thanks again Pat!
Took a nice long drive with Pat
Saw some big expensive homes in subdivisions tucked into the hills.
Then brought Pat home and headed back to home.
Stopped at the dog park on base and let the boyz run
The sure do enjoy doing that.
Made it home still full from lunch
Will just hang out at the big white box
and walk the dogs.
