Hole in the ground

Hi all
Yesterday was HOT, 95 in Tucson.
Made us look for a cool place to go.
What else? A hole in the ground!

Colossal Cave Mountain Park and did the cave.
Of course, the temp was 70° and the humidity was way more than ambient air of 12%
and compared to outside it was very nice for an hour midday.

We got there about an hour before the tour so we took advantage of the shade
on the patio and enjoyed a cool one.

I talked with a nice young couple from Armenia, both now US citizens and working in Phoenix.
Lots of fun listening about their lives here.
The parking lot view at Colossal Cave.

Cave map and outside temperature, so much cooler up on the mountain.

As usual, on the way back to the BWB
we stopped and bought both doggie and people groceries.
Trying to find wood pellets for our fire ring.
All there seems to be available here is for grilling/smoking
and I am not willing to pay $30+ for 40 lbs when pellets for heating are around $6 for 40 lbs.
So the challenge continues.

Back at the BWB we took short naps in the air conditioned comfort.
Little bit of supper and out to enjoy the cooling evening after sunset.
Showers and off to bed.

Today we start by joining Ken and Muriel for breakfast and goodbyes.
They are leaving to continue their journey today.
After they leave we have not figured out what to do with the day.
Stay tuned and tomorrow the mystery will be solved.

Make your day great
Tom and Millie
