Aarrgg!

Hi all
Well as you can always expect with a computer.....
disaster struck.
This is why there has been no post for a few days.
My trusty laptop decided to loose the network adapter.
The effect it had was to loose Bluetooth, USB, any internet connection.
So no communication with the outside world or anyway to input other than the keyboard.
Only work a round I have found was to use the DVD burner to transfer files.
No data lost, just only way to move files.
Now that is the computer that has Photoshop and a few other editing programs.
Left me with no option other than to purchase a new computer.
So now I can get on the internet when there is a connection.
And to edit images I have to transfer from the SD card to the new computer,
then burn a DVD and move them to the old computer,
edit and prepare for the Blog
then burn those to a DVD to move to the new computer.
Then I will be ready to create the blog and upload.
Only added 2 more steps in my work flow.
Only time will tell how big of a pain in the A$$ it is.

Today we finally are going to move.
We have so enjoyed staying here on base.
And taken advantage of many opportunities to see and do in the area.
Plus a great location to get out to meet with friends and relatives.

Off to Rusty's RV Ranch in Rodeo, NM.
Will get to finally meet photo friend Steve W.
And see the Chiricahua Mountains of which Steve has so many great photos.
Looking forward to seeing Cave Creek Canyon that Steve also has featured.
Should be a great couple of days.
Then on to Carlsbad Caverns, Big Bend National Park and
probably begin heading North as the ice will likely be off the lakes soon.
