Hi all
We made it to Tombstone today.
Went with a tour from the base.
Had to be on site for the ride by 9 AM
Was much easier than being on the road with the BWB by that time.
Was a hot day, temps in the low 90's, in a dusty town.
Thank goodness there was little wind.
Our first stop was the Court House Museum.
Then downtown and some window shopping.
There were a number of people dressed in period clothing,
mostly as cowboys.
There was the Gunfight at the OK Corral,
but we did not get there in time and had to leave before the next one.
We did get to hear it!
A couple more shots of the town.
So we got hungry and found
Big Nose Kate's place.
Was pretty neat
and our food, Reuben Sandwiches,
were very tasty.
So was the beer.
We even got entertainment.
Surprise, it was Country!
When we finished eating,
Millie did transportation shopping for ecologically correct equipment.
All in all we had a fun day and got tired.
Maybe it was the heat, or the beer,
naw, it was the heat.
Back to the BWB and short naps.
Sitting out on the "patio" enjoying the wonderful evening.
You know, when the temps fall into the low 80's.
Not sure what tomorrow will bring.
We have some options and we do need to be rested when Ken and Muriel arrive.
Make your day great
Tom and Millie
