My aplogies

Hi All
I will apologize for making you wait for photos
Tuesday we went back up to the Grand Canyon
the weather was just perfect and we even
found a picnic table right on the canyon edge for lunch.
I managed to catch a cold that hit me Sunday night
so Monday we stayed put so I could "catch my breath"
At 7000 feet that was literally true
Then after a truly wonderful day at the canyon
We crashed on Wednesday
I did get the photos edited.
also got packed up then walked downtown
and got a burger on Route 66
Yeah, we got our kicks on Route 66
and good beer, Grand Canyon Brewing.
So let's get started.............

The boyz couldn't wait to go for a walk on the canyon edge.
Millie, not so much, especially when they ran into snow and ice.

Hermits Rest at the end of the road.

 Our canyon side lunch table.

And a little playing with photoshop.

Love the way the camera saw the canyon walls in the distance. Make me think of water colors.

Above, Millie walking back from climbing the tower.
Pretty good feat since we were at 7000 feet,

And at the end of the day the haze rose as the sun went down.
And the moon was high in the sky.
We got home and crashed, into bed tired and so glad we went back up to the canyon.
And as I said, Wednesday we stayed put other than to get groceries and gas.

Travel today went really well
Overcast high winds and almost icy, just not quite
over the passes it got down to 36° and was raining.
Went south from Flagstaff to Sedona
Quite a road and beautiful, unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for photos.
Sedona, AZ is a pretty area, but otherwise highend touristy.
Was also the Sedona Film Festival and crowded.
Grabbed this on the way out of Sedona

Decided to press on through to Tucson, AZ
We did 300 miles in one day.
Mostly desert so went easy.
Settled in and now Millie has the cold  :-(
Take it easy tomorrow and enjoy the heat.
Was 80° when we arrived
and only going down to around 50° tonight
Not even sure we need to turn the heat on, yea!

Hope you enjoyed the photos
Hugs,
Tom and Millie
