More Photos as promised

Good morning one and all
Yesterday Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
I can't believe what fantastic scenery is available to the citizens or LV
After Valley of Fire, less than 2 hours away for most
Red Rock Canyon is less than 1 hour away for the area
and many would be only minutes away.
How lucky they are, even though summer at either park can be brutal

Only drawback is that it is so close to LV
and nearly impossible to get a photo without strangers not posing
So here goes, some of the unique formations

And getting a little closer

And more as we moved along

It just kept coming
every time you turn around or go 100 feet
some new view that had great colors
and fascinating lines

And more than just Yucca

Now this one is interesting
it is a black and white, but can you guess what this is?

Check in tomorrow for the answer!
You can post your guesses if you wish.

Then on our way out of the park
we were treated to a rare event

This little Burro with his family.
Was fun to watch this Band feed along the road.

Evening supper was at Shawn and Mark's church
Pancakes and bacon with fresh fruit.
Was great
after Shawn took us for a drive down the strip

Bright lights, big city
after the morning trip to the park
guess I'm just a country boy at heart.

And just to prove it....

Then home to edit photos
and bedtime, felt really good to put my head down.
That was our day on Tuesday.
Today Millie and Shawn are busy at Church
I will be getting the truck filled and hopefully cleaned.
Pack up this afternoon and prep to head out tomorrow morning.

Make your day great
Hugs
Tom and Millie

Millie's hint for the day
"Laundry is very important – if you get a chance – wash it."
