Acclimating

Hi all
We took it easy today
walked around town a little and did some shopping
Bought groceries and gas
See, big day!
Williams is a nice little town
does not seem to have lots of retirees
at least not a lot of "high end".
Weather is great, mid 60's day
and mid 20's at night
still have to disconnect the water
but not that big of a deal.

Downtown is on Route 66, or some of what's left of it.
Just about every store is named, carries or pretends it is the only place with Route 66 paraphernalia.

We enjoyed our day and the weather.
Bought our tickets to ride the Grand Canyon Railway
up to the, where else, Grand Canyon.
We go on Valentine's Day, our something special for each other.
It is a whole day with about 3 hours at the canyon.

Millie has a great solution for the paper towels that unroll
while we travel.

It's a hair tie, now I know why I didn't think of it.
and when we aren't traveling

It just hangs along side.

Sure glad I don't have to do all the think'n around here.

OK, now for those who are still curious

What is it?

It is a weathered wood timber step on a path in Red Rock Canyon.
The round shiny object is a metal spike.
It looked so much like the weathered sandstone formations
I just had to take a shot.

Millie's hint for today
"When you move the trailer, everything will move, possibly toward the front.  Count on movement."

Hugs all
Tom and Millie
