Good Morning from Williams, AZ

Hi all
Made the move yesterday from Nevada to Arizona
along the way we saw a sign for Arizona Visitor Information
So we took the left.
Next sign said 4 miles
As rare as some states have visitor information access
we drove the 4 miles to Chloride, AZ

Welcome to

Now we ended up driving around town
and that did not take long
until the Visitor Center was found
It was in the "General Store"
I guess that was the way to get you to
buy junk food and a soda while browsing the information.
I grabbed a map and left.
Took this photo and left before the guys in the street
could figure out where the stranger in town had gone.
I know the "big white box" may have been a give away
but they were on foot!

Finished the drive to Williams and got located in the RV Park
right next to the train tracks.
Now surprisingly the trains did not bother us at all
could hear them coming, then the whistle
then the big rumble, but we slept great.
Williams is at 6800 feet of elevation
so we are going to take it easy today and acclimate
Expecting night time temps to be in the mid 20's
and daytime in the mid 60's
just about perfect for us.

Yes, that is snow in the bottom left corner.
Quite a bit of it around but the roads are dry.
The boyz thought it was really neat.
Not really sure how long we are going to stay here
booked till Sunday and we just might decide
to stay longer.
Waiting to see how we acclimate (elevation)
and what there is to do besides the Grand Canyon.

Make your day great
and pass on a hug
Tom and Millie
