Liquid sunshine.
Yesterday we stayed home. didn't leave the property
Was really pleasant
Millie sewed and I did some minor jobs around the trailer.
Later we took Pat and Jim out to "Tad's Chicken & Dumplings.
Place has been there forever and was great as usual.
After at Pat & Jim's we had a glass of wine, watched American Pickers
and worked on a 2000 piece puzzle
Got home late and found one LP tank was empty and the auto switch over did not work
Took me about 30 minutes to get gas back going.
Slept great!
Today we filled the truck and 2 propane tanks
Then went into Troutdale, OR. Yep, this is downtown and the hill is a lot steeper than it looks.
Walked the streets and looked into shops
Stopped at the Visitor's Center and got lots of info for the upcoming weeks
Then took Millie to Camping World
She found lots to buy and restrained herself
I picked up a new LP auto change over valve.
Had to go to Lowes to get "pipe dope" to install the gas valve.
On home for lunch even though it was 5PM
Really good day and we got some needed gifts
and parts for trailer repair and maintenance.
Oh, and some LED lights for overhead of the couch so there will be light back there.
Watch a little TV, maybe even more episodes of Wings
and early to bed.
Tomorrow will be another day and with some luck only occasional rain.
Sleep well so tomorrow can be great.
