Good morning friends and family!
A little sunshine in the morning sure warms the heart.
Sunrise over Camp Rilea, OR
Laundry day, cleaning day and even grabbed a shower.
and looked out the other side of the camper after breakfast.
Promise of a good day!
Drove to Astoria, about 7 miles so it was a quick trip
Went to Bouy Brewing
Where we had a flight of 6 beers and cheese curds.
All the while sitting by the window and watching the ships go by.
On our way out Millie had to stand on the glass floor for Chelsey.
We walked over to the local quilt shop
and an antique store.
Next stop was Wet Dog Cafe and brewing
a 5 beer flight and clam chowder (absolutely wonderful chowder).
Pier 39 was our next stop
and the cannery museum.
Interesting, but cold.
To warm up we went into the Rogue Beer Tap room
and had their Root Beer, no alcohol, but sticking with the beer theory.
Started raining and getting on to sunset.
Grabbed a pic of Astoria and some of the moorings on the Columbia River
Then one more stop at the Fort George Brewery.
Had Albacore Tuna Fish and Chips, so much good food
Must be diet time soon!
And another great beer.
And now that it was getting late we headed back to the big white box.
Got home about 6 PM
Our days sure end early.
So I work on the blog and Millie is working on sewing projects.
Life is good
So don't go nuts trying to get all the gifts
enjoy a little life!
