While Millie basks in the warm dry sunny weather in Las Vegas....
Yep, I'm still here.
Have not washed away.
Today, although, often rainy
There was a nice break mid afternoon
Loaded up the dogs and headed up to the first gorge overlook
On the way up I noticed many new waterfalls along the road
These would normally be dry or just a trickle
but with all the rain appears that this 2 mile stretch
sprouted many new beauties.
On the way further up I noticed this field
Made me think of Corned Beef........
You guessed it Cabbage
and center left is the purple Cabbage.
Yep, it is December.
Then up to the overlook and was graced with this view.
Got really lucky with the sun and the rain stopping.
On the way back down got these, yes one is a repeat, but a bit different.
Was a great afternoon.
Went out to eat with Jeff, Gayle, Ken, Kathy and a few of their friends
Local pub with good food and had real beer on tap.
Got home early and relaxed with the boyz
and started enjoying the drier trailer at least a little.
A little TV, news and update blog
then off to bed and hope for some rain breaks tomorrow.
