More in Montrose

Hi all
Today we are moving to Mesa Verde.
4-6 days dry camp and maybe no cell service.
That so often goes along with great places to visit
and getting away from the crowds.
We have everything we need in our LSF
and with good sunshine can watch TV (if reception) or just watch a DVD.
Oh yeah, with good sunshine Millie can break out the sewing machine.
We do plan to visit the Cliff Dwellings and do the park things, too.

Yesterday we visited the Ute Indian Museum.
Very good displays and explanations.
Most of it was depicting the time Europeans arrived.
So much of the time before the arrival of Europeans they kept their history as stories.
Regardless of which race or ethnic group, it is sad to see what Man can do to his fellow Man.
Hopefully we remember what was done and
learn to stop repeating it or finding new ways to hurt each other.

Got some shopping and resupplying done and a nap!
Then after the museum we went to a local Brewery/Eatery.

Great beer and very good food.
Excellent service, too.

Home and Millie got sewing done and fought a while with her machine.
Hope it gets well and works as well as before.
I stopped in at a neighboring RV'r from New York, Long Island no less.
Visited for a good hour and had a great time sharing stories and campsites.

So time to get packed up and move on to new adventures.
Make your day great
Tom and Millie
