Best get busy with yesterday's activities.
Friday, relaxed morning, Pancakes and pork steak.
Finally got going by 11 so we would make the Royal Gorge Train.
We got Vista Dome hoping it would be a good view.
We were assigned 4 seats together on the sunny side of the train.

It was also the river side which would have been great,
except the AC was not working in that part of the car.
We had to have the blinds down to attempt to stay cooler.
The shady side of the train had the view of a rock wall.
Found, during the "end of the line" stop,
the open air car.
Got a spot by the river side at the railing and took lots of pictures.
Remains of the original flume that brought water to Canon City.
And a nice river valley.
Got to see some local wildlife.
On the first part of the ride, we had nacho's
and they were surprisingly good.
Made sitting in the Vista Dome much more fun.
After the train ride we made our way to downtown Canon City.
Looked in some stores for an hour,
then, went to Pizza Madness for a great pizza.
Back to the RV Park and some sitt'n time at the site.
Beautiful evening and temps stayed warm.
Today we said Good Bye to Shawn and Mark.
Then we got busy,
laundry,
cleaning,
trailer duties and
wash the truck windows.
A quick trip to town to fuel up.
Ready to hook up and head out for new adventures.
