Hi all
Monday was a great day.
Slept in, had a late breakfast, organized some storage and ready by noon.
Fridge seemed to be acting up so we headed to Alamosa.
Plan was to get a cheap foam cooler, ice, eggs and cream cheese.
Millie also wanted to get an inexpensive iron and thought "thrift store".
Truck re-gen had started on the way so we kept going and ended up in Monte Vista, CO.
Found a thrift store there and an iron!
Safeway for the food items and water fill station.
Fueled up the truck and headed to Alamosa Walmart.
Got ice and cooler there.
Late lunch and a beer at San Luis Valley Brewing.
Great beer, service and BLT. Burger just so-so.
From lunch we drove up to Great Sand Dunes National Park.
Toured the campground and very happy with where we are at.
Very few sites there that we could fit into and they were taken.
Stopped at a view point or two.
Then headed back to our LSF for the sunset.
TV, sewing and image editing kept us busy till bedtime.
Still trying to decide how long to stay.
Max is 14 days, but we would have to take the LSF to the park for trailer duties.
30-40 mile round trip and it is not on the way to where we are going,
Decisions, decisions!
Make your day great
Tom and Millie
