Little sun and some rain

Hi all
The "Oregon" weather continues.
Yesterday we had a good day.
We started out lazing around till late morning.
Sure is easy to do when we are warm and dry.
Decided to head up the Columbia Gorge.
Taking the old road "Scenic" Hi Way US 30 to Multnomah Falls

Road Closed.
So we went back to I-84 access to try that access to the falls.
Parking lot closed ie. FULL
On to the next exit and tried the west bound access, US 30 closed.
Got back on I-84 west to try the west bound access.
Cars were lined up all the way back on the exit ramp
waiting for a parking place.
So we gave up and headed back to Troutdale and into Gresham
Found a couple of Thrift stores.
Also found this for Millie's High School friend Betty.

Then fueled up the truck and back to our LSF.
Walked the boyz and went to pick up Cousin Pat to meet up
with cousins Jeff and Gail, and Butch and Kathy.
Had a great meal and lots of conversation.

Yep, that's a Chicken Pot Pie.
Made in the Tollgate's kitchen and Bakery, great meal and the pastry portion was great.
After the get together we returned Pat home and more conversation.
Home, walk dogs and off to bed.
Was a great day even though we did not get to the Falls.

Today we spent some time with my 97 year old Aunt Louella.
I hope I am doing that good when I hit 77.
Still living in her home of around 70 years.
Her daughter and her grand daughter live with her.
Appears to be a good symbiotic relationship.
Going to stop by again tomorrow and also over to Cousin Pat's
and hope to see my first cousin 3 time removed, Pat's Great Grandson.
Will let you know how that goes.

Likely to be our last day here, if all works out and expected mail arrives
we will head out Tuesday.
Weather looks good so we are heading to the coast.
