Casino time!

Hi all
We have been a couple of days with no TV or internet.
Gotta love the outback, but not for long.
So to catch you all up..............

After a great couple of days on the North coast or Oregon,
we headed south to Newport, OR.

Nice State Park on the beach, well, not exactly on the beach,
just a short walk.
We got in touch with my Cousin Charlotte and her husband Joe
who live in Yachats, OR about 20 minutes from where we were staying.
On the way we stopped at a glass blowing studio and gallery.

Lots of prettys and a bit of shopping for some Christmas gifts.
Then we headed to Yachats and found the house my Great Aunt lived in many years ago.
Spent some time on the beach and the tide pools.

Stopped in at the Yachats Brewing and Farmstore for lunch.
A couple good beers and a burger.
Stop at a thrift store near by for a few minutes.
Then on to Joe and Charlotte's house.
Visited for hours then a walk to the beach for the sunset.

Home for supper and an early night.

Next morning up and off to Remote Outpost RV Park and Cabins.
Just outside of Remote, Oregon.
One last stop for a great coastal photo, lighthouse and all.

Remote lived up to it's name, no TV, no cell service, no data and typical RV Park WiFi (slow).
Beautiful area, down in a valley with steep mountainsides covered with pines.
Very nice RV park with great hosts.
If you are looking for a "get away", this place would fit the bill.

Today we slowly got ready to head out and got on the road before noon.
Two and a half hours later and more than enough 35- 40 mph curves,
we arrived at the Seven Feathers Casino RV Park.
Stayed here on our first Big Adventure and enjoyed it so much we came back.
About the only thing that changed was the price, so far the most we have paid this trip.
Park is very well landscaped and also well kept.
Free shuttle to the Casino and good payout.
Both Millie and I doubled our money in the short time we stayed.
Going back tomorrow and play with their money and get ice cream.
Spending 2 nights here then moving on towards northern Nevada.

We have been having great weather, a bit cool at night and mid 50's daytime.
You can see by the photos that much of the time there is not even any clouds.

Next post I will catch up with photos better
as I have not gotten some downloaded from my phone yet.

Make your day great
Tom and Millie
