Day Trip

Hi all
We are getting packed up and heading out today.
Been in Klamath Falls, OR since we left Canyonville.

Yesterday morning I got up early and took the Truck
into the local Ford dealer for oil change,
fuel filter change and tire rotation.
Was done in a couple of hours which left us time
for a day trip.
Drove up, both north and up hill,
to Crater Lake.

Weather was nearly perfect, mostly sunny, little to no wind
and temps were in the upper 50's.
Best part is it felt like they kept the park open just for us and a few friends.
At Rim Village there was probably less than 20 people at any one time.
Walking the paths was quiet and getting photos with no people was easy.

Remember this is a National Park and it is set up for LOTS of people.
People were friendly and the park staff was so relaxed.
Just added to a day in a beautiful place.
The boyz loved getting out and walking.

Making a few stops along the road
just to get out, walk and enjoy the spectacular piece of the USA.

Got back to our LSF before dark
started laundry, visited with neighbor, talked to one of the kids
and started a few things to be ready to leave today.

Heading for Virgin Valley Campground in Northern Nevada.
Likely no internet, so we may be off the grid for a few days.
Also no hookups or services available, so we will test our boon-docking abilities
until we run out of water, waste water storage,
gas for the generator, propane for heat, or too little sunshine for the solar collectors.
Or maybe just get the urge to move on.

Feeling really blessed and will be back here soon.
Make your day great
