Twentynine Palms

Hi all
Woke up to a great sunrise

had breakfast and headed for Desert Hot Springs
To visit with OLP friends Anne and Bill from British Columbia
Here is Anne with our Pancho, he took to her really well
nothing better than a little spoiling.

And Bill, a great photographer and
a nice guy!

It is about an hour drive from where we are staying.
since it was about noon went went to lunch.
Thanks again Bill and Anne.

After lunch went looking for RV parts, no luck.
Oh well, it only holds our door open
no matter, I know how to use bungees.
Then back to their "patio" at their RV Park
What a view!

Saw the Road Runner, no Wylie C, darn.
Humming Birds and several other birds
I can see why they enjoy their "back yard"
Just a great space to enjoy the desert.
For kicks I did the above photo as a black and white.

And to give an idea of the road to town.
Kind of says lots of space and a long way to go.
The vegetation make Wyoming look really lush.

Had a really nice day and now trying to decide if we will stay longer
and if so how long.
Never thought retirement would be so hard!
Home and walked the dogs
surfed the net and had a little ice cream.

Have a light plan for tomorrow
Checking out the visitor centers
and the quilt shops and no plan for any heavy duty journeys
Need to have a restful day.

That's about all for today.
You have a good night
and make tomorrow great.
Tom and Millie
