Vet today

Hi everyone

Today was Elska’s appointment

A first for her, and us, with an Army Veterinarian

So we decided to go early and visit the Seabee’s Museum first

We drove around for about an hour on the base

Trying to find the building, until

We finally realized it was not accessed from the base.

Found the Off Leash Dog Park and let them all run and stuff.

Oh well, so we went to the base Exchange and shopped a bit.

At least we knew how to find the Vet’s office.

X-rays and blood work later found out her heart is enlarged

And has fluid surrounding her heart.

Started medication and have a recheck on Thursday.

Great Vet and staff, unfortunately Elska is just showing her age.

We shall see if the medication will have some effect

Maybe help her be more comfortable for what time she has left.

Such a sweet girl and a great traveler.

After the Vet we went to the Museum, now that we figured out

how to get there

Spent a couple hours there and enjoyed

Very nice and educational.

Went back to Point Mugu and got supper at the Flight Line Café

Home for sunset and a walk on the beach.

Get the blog done and a bit of surfing (internet)

Then off to bed

Sleep well and make tomorrow great
