Hi all
Sun is up, mist on the water and frost on the grass.
Going to be a wonderful day!
Yesterday Millie and I went out on the town.
First we found a local quilt shop.
They had lots of new machines and I received a good dose of "sticker shock".
Maybe I will let her continue to buy old machines.
Since we got a bit of a late start, some food was in order.
We found a winery (go figure), shared a flight of wine
and a Spinach/Artichoke dip with pita chips and thin sliced salami.
It was delicious and with the purchase of a bottle of wine,
the flight was free. Still won't say what that bottle of wine cost.
Excellent wines at the Coeur d'Alene Cellars.
Then, all liquored up by sharing 3 2oz pours, we found an antique mall.
Lots of stuff and most too high priced and of course we had no room to put it.
We didn't find anything to purchase, just enjoyed looking around.
Finally got Millie to a thrift store after that.
One that supported Veterans, it was also staffed by Vets and their families.
Millie, being a Veteran, got a discount on her purchase, so we put in a cash donation
to more than make up for the discount, but hey, worth supporting.
Then the trip to Walmart for groceries and some RV supplies.
Filled the truck with fuel and headed back to the LSF.
Supper, TV, sewing and catching up on Facebook completed our evening.
Today we are headed out to Brunch with Sherry and Phil.
Friday was their anniversary and so many things planned,
today is the first time we found we could treat them for the event.
Beyond this we don't have a plan, although I'm sure we will do something fun.
Or make it fun.
Make your day great.
Tom and Millie
