Been a little lazy doing posts, obviously.
We have been moving along and in the process my back is acting up.
Makes it not so likely I will get out and do much more than short walks.
We ended out stay visiting Korey, Rose and their children.
Had them out for Taco's at the BWB and really enjoyed the time spent together.
Kids were wonderful and had fun playing with the windows and door of the BWB.
I suspect the operation of these was all new to them and they explored the mechanics.
Monday we moved on to Santee State Park in SC.
Spent 2 nights there and enjoyed the peace and quiet of another nearly empty campground.
We were camped right by the lake and had a wonderful view.
Wednesday we made the 100 mile trip to Hunting Island State Park, SC.
Got a space for only one night and it was right next to the Atlantic Ocean.
Campground had just recently reopened after rebuilding from Hurricane damage.
Still lots of signs remaining of the damage closer to the beach.
Back sites show much less damage and it was, and will be again, a beautiful campground.
Sunrise was exciting and a first for us on the Atlantic.
Today we head for a Georgia State Park and hope to in another great find.
Only one night there and on to the Gulf.
