Sunny Florida!

Hi all
We made it to Florida.
But first...................
Spent a wonderful night at Laura S Walker State Park, Georgia.

Beautiful, green and in the pines with it's own lake.

Of course we did some trolling with the fur kids along the shore, but alas, didn't even get a bite!

A little off the beaten path, but on our way to the thriving metropolis of Fargo.

Fargo, Georgia that is.
Our on board navigation took us on a very interesting detour.
Took us off the direct route and into the Okefenokee Swamp.
Kept trying to get us to turn off the paved road onto side roads,
some of which looked like private drives
and some that we would have needed a key to open the gate.
We didn't take the bait,
I think it was trying to get us into the swamp cause the Alligators were hungry.
Was fun to see the countryside off the main highways
and we eventually found our way back onto the main highway,
by making it a point to stay on pavement.
May have been more fun on the side roads, but not with the BWB behind us.

After the drive through Fargo
we continued on to our destination near Chattahoochee, Florida.
Now we have had a good nights sleep and going to enjoy the weekend here.
Of course it is about laundry and cleaning time which will take up a good portion of the day.
Hope to do some exploring since the weather is so nice.

Make your day great
Tom and Millie
