Hi one and all
I know we left yesterday and it was a nasty travel day.
25 gusting to 35 head winds, otherwise pleasant enough.
When Millie was driving I fell asleep and felt like we were in the boat
rocking with the waves.
Just a lot of work to keep the rig on the road.
Also gas mileage was in the toilet.
Well, we made it to Medora and stayed in the NP campground.
Beautiful evening, quiet, cool and felt like we were alone.
Great place to stay, just have to remember it is "dry" camping.
Water and flush toilets were still functional and that was a plus.
Last night we ran out of propane, yes, I forgot to open the valve on the second tank.
So at 2:30 in the morning I had to go out and switch over.
It had gotten down to about 50 in the camper and the furnace ran
for a long time to get it warmed back up to 64.
Usual time this morning to clear sky, 40 degrees and no wind.
Was beautiful, especially with a cup of French Press coffee.
Packed up and headed out.
Uneventful travel day, especially without the wind.
Gas mileage back up and we didn't have to stop nearly as often.
Easier on us and the bank account.
Tonight, guest of the Laural, MT Walmart.
And hopefully a good night's sleep.
Thanks Sam Walton, sure hope this service continues.
A little shopping and a bite to eat then bed time.
Make all of your days great!
Tom and Millie
