Henderson, NV

 Hi all
We made it!
Arrived just in time for supper.
Wonderful meal
and I don't think it was because it was so nice to sit still.
Tomorrow morning we will head over to get the Big White Box.

Today we only did 400 miles and enjoyed almost all of it.
It is always a long road when you are traveling on it.

We did stop and play at
Petrified Forest National Park

smaller national park and from the east side
you would hardly think it is anything special.
Then you find the petrified logs.
Wow, rainbow of colors

Huge logs, looks like a logging company's back lot.
Was hard to find which ones to take photos of.
Couldn't pass up getting Millie in on the action.

This is a park worth going out of the way to see.
Only need about 2 hours to see lots.
Not all, would take a couple days to do that.

We also found this along Old Route 66

Pretty much since Oklahoma City
we have been traveling on or alongside Rt 66.
And we got our Kicks!

In Northwest Arizona
we had to stop and see the
Grand Canyon Caves, "Tourist Trap"
Was likely way more popular before I-40 got built.
Took these photos for my cousin Ed

So, like I said, tomorrow get to the BWB
and move back in, make any repairs, if needed
and set up housekeeping.

Make your day great!
Tom and Millie
